“ I thought they permanently changed the noodles to thick ones and was pretty upset, BUT you can actually just ask for thin ones. Kinda weird the thick noodles are the default and the menu doesn’t mention choosing thick or thin noodles.. BUT ANYWAY, the pho is definitely the best I’ve had in Cap Hill. Such flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. Definitely come support this place because you can tell the owner put his heart and soul into his restaurant! ”

“ Today I got the steak banh mi for lunch here and it was a uniquely good experience. I’ve had a lot of banh mi over the years but this one’s special. Calling it “steak” makes you think there’d be thick cuts of angus on this sandwich but it’s actually closer in texture to a chopped beef, very fine and with a very typical sweetness to the marinade. Most of the fixings are also typical - pickled carrot, radish, a slice of cucumber with jalapeno, parsley and onion - but what stands out is this hot mustard that coats the inside of the bread. No sauce on top either, which is appreciated and makes for a much cleaner experience. The deep tang of the mustard mixes with the sweeter pickled veggies and the freshness of the cucumber to make each bite refreshing and flavorful, while delivering a bit of that mouth numbing spice. Overall an incredible sandwich, perfect for a light lunch, and one of my favorite banh mi showings in Seattle. ”

“ Best bahn mi in Seattle. I’m a big fan for bahn mi (thus have high standards for one) and I crave them a few times a month. Had tried a couple of places in Seattle, Belltown, UDstrict and west Seattle, but they rarely meet my expectations. This place is my go to! The pork Vietnamese sandwich tasted just right with the traditional topping and paste. The baguette is also perfect. Everything is done the right way. Also for 11, it was very affordable and easy to grab for lunch when working remotely (i used to live near the store) ”
